Pi Awarded Southern Water Framework

After completing a competitive public procurement process, Process Instruments is proud to announce our most recent achievement, the Southern Water Framework Award! This means that Pi is now an official supplier of Southern Water.

Amongst other reasons, Pi was chosen because we:

Southern Water supplies an average of 532 million litres of wholesome water per day to approximately 2.5 million customers. Products from Pi being added to the clean water and wastewater framework include but aren’t limited to:

• TurbSense® – The online turbidity meter that determines true online turbidity and/or suspended solids in water, using nephelometric measurements of scattered light.
• SoliSense® – A sophisticated sensor that has the unique ability to measure from as low as 2 NTU to 8% solids. It is suitable for wastewater, potable water monitoring, return activated sludge and many more applications.
• OxySense – An optical luminescent device that is extremely resilient to abrasion and very stable. Coupled, with the automatic self-cleaning and self-verification, this dissolved oxygen controller has significantly reduced maintenance and whole life costs.
• DAFSense – A low cost, highly effective integrated coagulation controller that accepts multiple inputs and calculates, with modified PID controls, the optimum coagulant and flocculant dose for dissolved air flotation solids and fats, and oil and grease (FOG) removal systems.
