Introducing Chloribrid®! Pi’s brand new, free and total residual chlorine analyser.Reagents or membranes? Both colorimetric and amperometric techniques are powerful when it comes to monitoring residual chlorine. However, like any technique, both experience shortcomings. Therefore, Pi’s development team created the solution to these shortcomings; the Chloribrid®. A hybrid of both colorimetric and amperometric methods. The hybrid was created by combining Pi’s residual chlorine monitor (HaloSense) and Pi’s free and total chlorine analyser (DPDSense).
By putting both reagent and membrane sensor technologies together, the hybrid:- Is self-checking with two technologies
- Is self-calibrating
- Works unattended for up to 6 months

Chloribrid®, Pi’s free and total residual chlorine analyser
The Chloribrid® is an innovative, novel, and patented product, only available from Pi. It helps to improve the resilience of online residual chlorine measurements, and therefore the resilience of the disinfection of water. You no longer need to choose between a reagent based or a membrane sensor. The only choice you need to make now is Pi’s Chloribrid®!
Like all of Pi’s other sensors, Chloribrid® can be used in combination with Pi’s instrument controller (CRIUS® 4.0) to make it multi parameter.
With no routine calibration required, and the Chloribrid® being able to work right out of the box, it can be simply plugged in, and it is ready to go! Not only that; it is self-checking, needs infrequent maintenance, and it has a low TOTEX.
Some applications of the Chloribrid® include drinking water, remote sites, and secondary chlorination. However, the Chloribrid® range is particularly suited to sites where reliability, accuracy, and resilience are most important.
